Milia

Milia presents itself as small, hard, white lumps on the surface of the skin. Extracting them yourself can cause trauma to the skin so treating them with thermology is a safe and quick way of removing them. For best and quickest results we would recommend to add Milia removal to one of our facials.

Milia

Milia are tiny, white, cyst-like bumps that commonly appear on the skin, particularly around the eyes, cheeks, and nose. They occur when dead skin cells become trapped beneath the surface, forming small, hard cysts. Milia can vary in size and number, and while they are generally harmless, they can be aesthetically bothersome.
At XO Clinics, we offer effective removal options for Milia. Lance extraction involves carefully puncturing and removing the cyst using a sterile needle, while Thermology uses precise heat to target and eliminate the Milia. The choice of treatment depends on the size and quantity of the Milia.
For the best results, we recommend incorporating Milia removal into one of our skin treatments. Preparing the skin beforehand ensures it is softer and more receptive, making the removal process gentler and more effective.
